I'm Scotty. You Admin. Been wheeling for years. Lets see, I have been through numerous rigs. Started life with an 85 CJ7, then a 72' Early Bronco paired with a 76' EB, and then a CJ8 Scrambler that I just recently sold to PeteyG. So, I then picked up my current 88' 4runner.
I used to admin for Broncoholics.com, but Al decided that needing to actually still own one was a prerequisite to running the board. So, I agreed to help launch Toyotaholics. So, here we are.
I'm from Lake Elsinore, CA. Have a wife and three kiddies, and am just starting to gather parts for my 4runner build. |

I wheeled a 1991 Toyota with the IFS, locked front/rear.
The link is to the build up I had done, I sold it 6 months after the build because Off Roading had become a chore to me.

I have run lockers, no lockers, and it was a daily driver.
There are a lot of products, vendors and a fabricator listed in that thread.
I now own two 2000 3.8L Mustang Coupes that I am trying to figure out. |

| Josh, been around JA for about 4.5 years, married with 2 beautiful daughters (5 & 3, both for only a couple more weeks, then 6 & 4). I've been a Jeep guy since I was 11, when I learned to drive on my uncle's 74 CJ5. I've owned, built and wheeled several Jeeps (CJ's and YJ), but recently sold my CJ7 due to money constraints. I just bought a 85 Yota, built by someone else. I'm going to pick it up this week, so I'll add some pics and description after I get it home. Well, glad it's up and going Al and Scotty, I've been looking forward to this. |

| Hi, I am TJ. I am active duty Navy stationed (and from) San Diego, CA. As the signature says, I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma slightly modified, with a 6" Trailmaster lift (with the Gabriel Strut conversion), Downey Intake, Bullet Catback Exhaust, and Bushwhacker Cut-out fender flares. That is the big things, with many more small modifications. I like wheeling in the desert, and some trail driving, but am not too into the rock crawling (cannot afford the damage). |

Hey, Greg here. Followin Scotty around from site to site and well worth it! Wife and I live in Bishop on the Eastside of the Sierras. Been wheelin for 30 years, but kicked it into high gear five years ago and built an early bronco for crawling and haven't turned back. Since the bronco is less and less of a street rig, just picked up an 85 forerunner to do a mild build on for cruising the nevada ghost towns and the forest roads around here. People say it won't be long before I sell the bronco and build the yota, so I'll be keeping an eye on Scotty's build. Join any one of the organizations fighting to keep our roads open or all this building rigs will be for nothing! |

| Hello, Happy to see another place for us Toyota off road nuts to hang out when the weather is bad. I am a retired USAF aircraft mechanic whos has gone to work in the oil fields as a Oil and Gas Production Tech. I have a 2001 tacoma that is lifted 3 inches, on 33's and locked in the rear. I get to do a lot of wheeling here close to where I live as well as daily at work in the oil fields. I have been building 4x4's and off roading since the early 80's'; still having a blast with the hobby. |

Hey, I just signed up about an hour ago!
I have 2 rigs:
1986 stock SR5 4Runner 4x4.
1986 xtra cab 4x4 with a 5.0 Ford motor conversion. It also has a T-5 tranny and a 3 Rancho suspension lift, a 2" body lift, and 33" pro-comp mud tires. It has a True-track in front and a Toyota e-locker in rear.
I frequently go on trail runs with So Cal Broncos but would like to get in with a Toyota group since that is what I own.

Hi everyone,
I'm Rob, a realtor in San Diego. Got me an 86 Yota about 6 years ago and have been building it ever since. It now is in pretty much indestructible condition. Rebuilt the top end of the engine when it got a little tired (plus blew a head gasket) at around 100,000 miles. It has 33" MTRs on it and lockers front and rear with 4.88 gears. It will go just about anywhere, and has the body damage to prove it. It doesn't really have a suspension lift, just a 3" body lift to clear the tires. For those that have seen it out there at TDS and other runs, it is respectable. I bobbed the bed (it was a long bed) about 2 feet and that was the best mod so far. |

Terry here. Drive a YJ these days, but, have owned a new 78 FJ40, a used 69 FJ40, an FJ60 and two 4x4 Toy trucks, (both '94's). Founded Razorback Land Cruisers, the Arkansas Chapter of the TLCA.
(Keepin' my eye out for a nice Toy extended cab 4x4, or maybe an -80 that I spotted at a used car lot...) |

I'm Bill, My wife and two little boys live to get out and wheel. I know scotty from So cal broncos and broncoholics. My main trail rig is a 71 bronco, but I also have a 72 fj-40 cruiser that is in the planning stage. I wouldn't mind picking up a runner one of these days to play with. I wheel with mostly toyota's and have also helped build and work on my share of them. Toyota's kick ass on the trails, that's for sure! We have recently started up our own little anti-club of easy going people to wheel with on yahoo groups. Here is a small web page of what we do with a link to our yahoo group at the bottom. Check it out if ya like ---Bill
